They're just numbers. And yet, they play such a significant part in our lives. I would go as far as to say that my life revolved around such numbers.

When you're 17 years, 364 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes old you can't drive, you can't buy alcohol/cigarettes, you can't go clubbing, you can't watch m18 movies. And yet, though it may be just a minute's difference, when you're 18 you can do all that and more. Legally that is.

When you're 20 years old, you're obliged to obey your parents' every word. And yet, miraculously, when you turn 21 you're suddenly mature enough to make your own decisions in life.

I find it pretty curious, don't you?
